Breakfast Quiche

Recipe makes enough for 2 separate quiche!  Perfect for entertaining!

Ingredients

  • 2 Crust I use a pre-made whole grain, organic crust from Central Market/H.E.B.
  • 6 Eggs
  • 3 Cups Shredded Frozen Hasbrowns
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheese (Irish Cheddar)
  • 1 lb Jimmy Dean Ground Sausage (Hot)
  • 1/4 Cup Green Onions (chopped)
  • 1 Cup Parmigiano-Reggiano (mix)
  • 1/4 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tsp Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tsp Oregano
  • 1 Tsp Tumeric
  • 1 Tsp Celery Salt
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Mix eggs, hash-browns, cheese, seasonings, sour cream, and milk in large bowl.
  • Brown sausage separately, drain grease, let cool.
  • Add sausage to above mixture, gently stir, and pour into each ready-made crust.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr 15 mins.
  • To make ahead of time: pour mixture into crust, cover with foil and freeze.  When ready to serve cook at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
