My Great-Grandmother Carto's Cranberry Sausage Stuffing!

I would fight somebody for this stuffing!!!!
Course: Side Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 15oz package Arnold Stuffing
  • 2 eggs, slight beaten
  • 4 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 6 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 1 lb pork sausage, panfried and drained
  • 8 oz jellied cranberry sauce, beaten until thin
  • 2 cups apple juice

Instructions

  • Mix stuffing mix, cooked sausage, chopped onion, celery, eggs and cranberry sauce.
  • Add apple juice, a little at a time until the entire mixture is dampened not mushy
  • Stuff into 18-20lb turkey and cook as directed for turkey weight
  • Bake remaining separately covered for 30mins at 350 degrees
